DON’T IGNORE THE WARNING SIGNS
Signs Your Transmission Needs Attention
Early diagnosis prevents minor issues from becoming expensive failures. If you notice any of the following, bring your vehicle in right away.
Slipping Gears
Your car unexpectedly changes gears or feels like it's "slipping out" of gear while driving. This is a critical safety issue.
Delayed or Rough Shifting
Hesitation between gear changes, hard thuds when shifting, or RPMs revving before engaging — all signs of transmission stress.
Grinding or Shaking
Grinding during gear changes on a manual, or shuddering/shaking during acceleration on an automatic, often indicates internal wear.
Leaking Transmission Fluid
Transmission fluid is red or dark red. A puddle under your car should never be ignored — low fluid causes rapid damage.
Burning Smell
Overheated or degraded transmission fluid often produces a burning smell. Left unaddressed, it causes irreversible internal damage.
No Response in Drive or Reverse
If your vehicle hesitates or doesn't move when shifted into gear, something is seriously wrong. Get it checked immediately.
